K2M names executive vice president of global sales

K2M Inc. announced the promotion of Gianluca Iasci to the position of executive vice president of global sales. He will be responsible for the company’s global distribution and expansion efforts in the U.S. and international markets.
Iasci was previously the company’s senior vice president of international sales. Prior to joiningK2M, he served as senior vice president of international at AGA Medical and served for 12 years with Johnson & Johnson in various European sale and marketing positions. Iasci was also the managing director of Italy while at Boston Scientific, and spent 4 year at St. Jude Medical where he was stationed I Hong Kong and gained experience in the Asia-Pacific market.
“I am confident that Gianluca’s international view of the world will provide strong leadership to our global mission of delivering leading technologies to surgeons and patients,” Eric Major, president and chief executive officer of K2M, stated in the release.
