On behalf of the Federation of Orthopaedic Trainees in Europe (FORTE), I respectfully thank EFORT and the European National Member Societies for their generous contribution to the FORTE Young Orthopaedic Surgeons Summit.

We have received several positive and encouraging responses from most of the European orthopaedic societies. We are looking forward to welcoming you during the FORTE Young Orthopaedic Surgeons Summit 2015 in Rolle, Switzerland, on the 19th and 20th of February.

Gazi Huri
Gazi Huri, MD FORTE President

We have created a two-day program that consists of several hot topics about improvement of orthopaedic education, and further steps. The aim of the summit is to improve collaborations and create dynamic working groups throughout Europe. We are also asking you to share your national projects in a special session where we will discuss them. Our hope is to make a mutual project and work together as a result of this meeting. As Neil Armstrong’s most famous line, we believe That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for orthopaedics’ future.
