The Symposium will bring together medical and policy experts who will discuss key international and EU initiatives in patient safety and public health, and the role of the Orthopaedic and Trauma community in setting excellence in the quality and safety of care.

Trauma Symposium Panel 

The symposium will highlight the need for concerted action in an environment where mobility of patients and professionals across borders is increasing. Key speakers include: Prof. Didier Pittet, WHO; Agnieszka Daval Cichon, European Commission; Dr. Benedetta Allegranzi, WHO; Dr. Frederick M. Azar, AAOS; Prof. Sir Liam Donaldson, Imperial College London. The event is part of the Congress overarching topic on Patient Safety.
