ORLANDO, Fla. — At the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting, Sanjit R. Konda, MD, discussed a study which looked at a predictive model with stigma scores used to predict the in-patient mortality risk with high fidelity in geriatric and middle-aged trauma patients. Results showed the stigma score was able to predict morality risk in both geriatric and middle-aged patients with very high accuracy.
