EFORT

As part of our scientific program, the upcoming 17th EFORT Congress to be held in Geneva from 1 to 3 June 2016 will again feature the well-established Nurse Day. This educational full-day course aims to fulfill the educational need of orthopaedic and trauma nurses and health care professionals.

In Geneva, we will once more conduct a full-day scientific program built around different session formats: key-note presentations from international experts, invited sessions with well-known European speakers, abstract oral presentations and poster discussions from nurses of various countries.

Nurse comforts senior

All of these scientific efforts supports aim to provide international evidence, innovations and views on various aspects around improvement of patients’ health, management of rehabilitation, postoperative complications and other issues raised by the impact surgery has on patients.

Some of the leading questions related to nurse knowledge around the world will be shared and promoted: how to manage pain, how to integrate the patients’ and clinicians’ feedback into hospital guidelines, what are the financial costs and staff concerns linked to health care systems, how to increase awareness toward the psychological and social impacts of surgery on patients, what is the best means for information exchange with a discharged patient, how intra-operative and postoperative mobility and positioning can optimize recovery and improve life quality of patients.

Don’t miss the opportunity to enhance your knowledge about orthopaedic nursing care.
