EOS imaging and Stryker’s European Spine business recently announced a co-promotion agreement for the U.K. market as part of an ongoing development strategy. Under the terms of this agreement, Stryker’s U.K. sales force will promote EOS imaging’s platform products to existing and prospective customers of Stryker.

With the combination of EOS low-dose 2-D/3-D imaging and 3-D planning solutions, and Stryker’s Spine portfolio, surgeons reportedly will be able to visualize the patient’s spine and lower limbs in 2-D and 3-D. In addition, surgeons will be able define adequate treatment strategies, follow postoperative conditions and have access to accurate anatomical information, according to a press release.

“This exclusive partnership gives us a stronger access to the orthopedic customer’s base in one of the most important markets in Europe. Stryker’s Spine sales force will strongly reinforce our go-to market capacity in the [United Kingdom] U.K. and we are pleased to partner with one of the fastest growing companies within the spine implant business in the U.K. Combining our respective products range and resources into one of the best offerings is undoubtedly a great advantage for our companies and our mutual customers,” Marie Meynadier, chief executive officer of EOS imaging, said in the release.

In the release, Guillaume Joseph, the vice president and general manager of Stryker’s European Spine division, noted the agreement will provide streamlined and integrated surgical solutions to European customers.
