Due to the close partnership EFORT has with ESTES, European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery, EFORT will hold a guest symposium at the 17th European Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery in Vienna on Tuesday 26 April 2016 from 14:00 to 15:30.
The symposium, entitled “Periprosthetic and Implant Related Fractures,” is organized by the Trauma Group of EFORT.
The EFORT lectures will be given by Dr. Michael Plecko (Austria), Prof. Peter Giannoudis (United Kingdom), Prof. Thomas Freude (Germany) and Prof. Karl-Heinz Frosch (Germany). The lectures will address topics such as:
- upper extremity
- periprosthetic acetabular fractures
- femur fractures with total hip replacement
- fractures around total knee replacement
During the symposium, some interesting cases will be presented and discussed.
