Moreover, EFORT is pleased to announce that attendees who stay in a hotel in Geneva during the 17th EFORT Annual Congress will benefit from free public transportation without restriction. Upon check-in at the hotel you will receive a transport card. Anyone with the card is entitled to travel by bus, train and boat for the duration of their stay, including the day of departure. This card is specific to the attendee and is non-transferable.
Furthermore, those flying to Geneva also can travel free of charge from the airport to the city center, as well as from the hotels to the Congress center. That ticket, which is valid for 80 minutes, can be obtained at the baggage claim area from a dispenser located next to the luggage conveyor belts.
For anyone who plans to attend the Congress but has not yet located accommodations in Geneva, we have prepared a list of hotels that can be accessed when registering for the Congress. To book a hotel room, either contact our official appointed agents, MCI or complete our online registration process. We recommend you book your room as early as possible, as the hotels have limited capacity.
The meeting venue, Geneva Palexpo, is located close to Geneva Airport and the city’s rail station. It is also easily accessible by motorway from the rest of Switzerland, as well as from France, Italy and Germany. There is onsite parking for 2,800 vehicles. The 17th EFORT Annual Congress is being held in Palexpo Exhibition Hall 1.
