WAIKOLOA, Hawaii — Roy W. Sanders, MD, highlighted a discussion at Orthopedics Today Hawaii 2016 on new treatment options for patients with lower extremity fractures. He said that for posterior malleolus fractures, orthopedic surgeons need to fix these injuries directly from the back and not from the front.
