The EFORT Academy's main objective is to sustain the vision of EFORT, to capture and build on the professional capacity of the Federation by driving the scientific agenda, harmonizing education and treatment, encouraging knowledge exchange and performing with a high level of integrity.
This peer network, where orthopaedic surgeons and other health care leaders meet, strives to actively raise the priority of musculoskeletal diseases and injuries on the European health agenda.
The Academy offers a FELLOWSHIP affiliation that is open internationally to all interested surgeons, physicians, researchers and allied health care providers in the fields of orthopaedics and musculoskeletal trauma.
Benefits for the fellows who will be accepted in the 2016 Academy round include, amongst others, a free entrance to the 17th EFORT Annual Congress taking place in Geneva in June 2016, as well as a VIP registration. Application submission deadline for the 2016 round is 31 October 2015.
