Life Spine launches four new minimally invasive systems at NASS
Life Spine announced the launch of four minimally invasive systems at the 2015 North American Spine Society Annual Meeting in Chicago.
The launch includes the Longbow Expandable Lateral Spacer System and the Centric Lateral Retractor System. According to a company release, the systems are designed to simplify expandable lumbar interbody fusions and allow for a larger graft area with less muscle retraction.
The company also launched the SImpact Sacroiliac Joint Fixation System, which offers in-situ controlled compression via a two-part screw. The SImpact Sacroiliac Joint Fixation System includes Life Spine’s Osseo-Loc surface treatment to help promote bone fusion, according to the release.
In addition, the Centerline Cortical Thoracolumbar Spinal System was launched. The system reportedly offers one of the smallest stature cobalt chrome systems on the market for minimal incisions and tissue retraction.
