Mazor Robotics Ltd. recently announced Anat Kaphan has joined the company as vice president of marketing and product management.

The newly established role will have a primary focus on product development and corporate marketing, according to a Mazor Robotics press release.

Kaphan will be based at the company global headquarters in Israel and will report directly to Ori Hadomi, Mazor’s CEO. She will also be a member of the company’s executive leadership team, according to the release.

Prior to her position with Mazor, Kaphan held several product, marketing and business development positions with medical device companies such Philips Medical Systems and Lumenis Ltd. and has more than 15 years of experience in the medical device field.

Kaphan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from Haifa University and Master of Business Administration in international marketing from Tel-Aviv University, according to the release.
