Joseph G. Darling appointed as VP, chief operating officer of Interventional Spine

Interventional Spine recently announced Joseph G. Darling will serve as the company’s next vice president and chief operating officer.

Darling has a 25-year career in the pharmaceutical and medical device business. He most recently served as president of Linvatec Corporation and executive vice president of commercial operations at the CONMED Corporation, according to a company release.

“I am very pleased to take on this expanded role with Interventional Spine as we continue to develop our strategy in the spine market, I look forward to working closely with Walter and the management team to expand our presence and strength in this important market,” Darling said in the release.

Prior to his employment at CONMED Corporation, Darling held various senior management positions with publicly traded global companies, including Smith & Nephew, Wyeth-Ayerst Pharmaceuticals, Baxter International and Abbott Laboratories.
