IlluminOss Medical recently announced it has named Clive V. Ridgwell as vice president of sales.

With over 30 years of experience in the medical device field, Ridgwell joins the company from Zimmer, where he most recently served as vice president of the trauma division. Ridgwell also previously held senior executive roles in international operations with Zimmer.

“Clive Ridgwell’s extensive operational expertise has proven fundamental to the development of medical device companies, both at a geographical and product-specific level, and we are pleased to welcome him to the IlluminOss team,” Robert Rabiner, president and CEO of IlluminOss Medical, said in a company press release. “He will be integral to the advancement of our commercialization strategy in Europe.”

“I am excited to be part of a company with a groundbreaking technology that is well-positioned to truly change the way fracture repair can be approached,” Ridgwell said in the release.
