Boston Children’s Hospital named best in country for neurology and neurosurgery
U.S. News & World Report recently released its 2015-2016 top-10 best children’s hospital throughout the country, naming Boston Children’s Hospital the best in the country for neurology and neurosurgery, according to a press release.
U.S. News & World Report also named Boston Children’s Hospital as the best overall children’s hospital in the country, according to the report.
The ninth annual report highlights the top centers in each of 10 pediatric specialties: cancer, cardiology and heart surgery, diabetes and endocrinology, gastroenterology and GI surgery, neonatology, nephrology, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology and urology.
Boston Children's Hospital, which was ranked best 7 out of 10 specialties, claimed top spot on the honor roll, according to the release.

The rankings were based on clinical survey data from 184 pediatric centers and reputational survey information from pediatric specialists and subspecialists.
Here are the top-five pediatric hospitals ranked for neurology and neurosurgery on the U.S. News & World Report honor roll:
1. Boston Children's Hospital.
2. Texas Children’s Hospital.
3. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
4. Children’s National Medical Center.
5. Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.
