Integra LifeSciences names new CEO, CFO for SeaSpine

Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corp. recently announced the appointment of Keith Valentine as CEO of SeaSpine Holdings Corp. SeaSpine will become an independent, publicly traded company following the completion of its spin-off from Integra, according to a company release.

Additionally, John Bostjancic has been appointed as chief financial officer (CFO) for SeaSpine, according to the release.

SeaSpine, a global medical technology company, focuses on surgical solutions for the treatment of spinal disorders. Located in Vista, Calif., SeaSpine has a comprehensive portfolio of orthobiologics and spinal fusion hardware solutions.

Prior to joining SeaSpine, Valentine served as president and chief operating officer of NuVasive from January 2007 to January 2015.

Bostjancic has been acting CFO of SeaSpine since December 2014. He was most recently a senior vice president of Global Supply Chain at Integra from February 2012 to November 2014. From 2008 to January 2012, Bostjancic was senior vice president of financial planning and analysis, according to the release.

SeaSpine is expected to complete its spinoff from Integra LifeSciences in the second half of 2015, the release stated.
