LAS VEGAS — ConforMIS has announced the new-generation iTotal CR total knee replacement, designed to improve procedural efficiency by further reducing the number of intraoperative steps required during a knee replacement surgery.

The only customized total knee replacement product currently available, the iTotal CR is designed and manufactured specifically to match each patient’s anatomy and has demonstrated greater patient satisfaction, greater stability and more natural kinematics compared with traditional, off-the-shelf knee implants, according to a company press release.

“The latest generation iTotal again demonstrates our ability to respond to the needs of our customers with better solutions for patients, surgeons and hospitals,” Philipp Lang, MD, CEO of ConforMIS, stated in the release.
