Brad Lee promoted to president and CEO of Breg

Breg recently announced the promotion of Brad Lee to president and CEO of the company.

Lee brings 22 years of experience in the medical device industry to his new title. In his former role of president, Lee was responsible for doubling company revenue and growing at twice the industry average during his 6-year tenure with Breg, according to a company release. Lee has also been instrumental in the company’s partnership with Water Street Healthcare Partners, expansion via three acquisitions and the naming of Breg as one of San Diego’s top workplaces by the San Diego Union-Tribune.

“Brad is an enormously talented executive and effective competitor. He has led Breg through a tremendous period of growth to position the company as an industry leader and innovator,” Stuart Essig, chairman of Breg’s board of directors, said in the release. “He is the right leader to continue to drive Breg’s expansion and profitability.”

“I am very excited about the current trajectory here at Breg and look forward to the continued success I envision for the business,” Lee said in the release. “I am particularly encouraged by the rapid adoption of our orthopedic solutions, which focus on improving the quality of the orthopedic episode for patients and caregivers.”
