ChoiceSpine recently announced it has acquired the Baxano VEO Lateral Access and Interbody Fusion System.
The system is designed to treat degenerative disc disease through a minimally invasive lateral approach. This is the first of five new product offerings ChoiceSpine plans to launch in 2015, according to a company press release.
The addition of the lateral system, as well as the launch of four other products expected this year, provides the company with the opportunity to expand its Western footprint, according to Rick Henson, ChoiceSpine principal.
