Titan Spine technology expands to Spain, United Kingdom

Titan Spine announced it has expanded use of its Endoskeleton line of interbody devices to the United Kingdom and Spain.

The devices use proprietary implant surface technology that comprises a combination of roughened topographies at the macro, micro and cellular levels. This combination has been shown to promote an enhanced osteogenic environment when compared with smooth titanium or polyetheretherketone polymer implants, allowing the implants to actively participate in the fusion process and function more than standard interbody spacers, according to a company press release.

The London Spine Clinic was the first to use the fusion technology in the United Kingdom, according to the release.
