Bacterin appoints Di Silvio as president

Bacterin recently announced the addition of Robert Di Silvio as president of the company.

Di Silvio will join the company with more than 30 years of experience in executive management positions in the medical industry, according to a company press release. Prior to his appointment as president, Di Silvio served as senior vice president and general manager of the Americas region for Lumenis.

In his role as president, Di Silvio will oversee management of sales, marketing and business development for Bacterin.

“Bob has a distinguished track record of success in the medical device industry, managing sales and marketing operations with significant growth achievements,” Dan Goldberger, Bacterin CEO, said in the release. “We are fortunate to have Bob join our management team in this important role; he brings unrivaled experience and leadership to the company and will play a critical role in our growth.”
