Bacterin launches allograft for spinal applications

Bacterin International Holdings Inc. announced the launch of OsteoSTX, a new allograft for orthopedic procedures.

According to a company press release, OsteoSTX are flexible cortical DBM matchsticks designed for multilevel and deformity spinal applications that use Bacterin’s proprietary demineralization technology. The first product in Bacterin’s biologic portfolio, OsteoSTX is designed to address multilevel spine procedures and deformity cases.

“We introduced this product to key opinion leaders at the NASS Evidence and Technology Spine Summit and the feedback was astounding. I am looking forward to seeing how distribution of this new product will help support our growth goals, and complement our existing product portfolio,” Dan Goldberger, president and chief executive officer of Bacterin, stated in the release.
