SpineVision appoints new chief operating officer
SpineVision has named Ken Yamada, as the chief operating officer of its U.S. branch. Yamada was formerly vice president of international operations at Wright Medical Technology.
“Ken brings substantial skill sets to SpineVision, and we expect him to make an immediate and significant contribution in support of our business’ growth throughout North America,” Arnuad Brisard, chief executive officer of SpineVision, stated in a company press release.
The company also established a new subsidiary in Dusseldorf, Germany, to expand commercial growth in Europe. As a result, Danny Severens was promoted to sales manager of Northern Europe where he will be responsible for the development of SpineVision’s sales network in Germany, along with his current responsibilities as country manager.
Additionally, SpineVision recently received CE mark for its new Flex+2 stabilization rod, as well as 510(k) approval for a range of surgical instrumentation that focuses on age and degeneration conditions of the spine.
