Ottobock announced the launch of its OA Restore brace for mild to moderated medial or lateral osteoarthritis, as well as patients who have osteoarthritis in combination with ligament instability.

According to a company press release, the OA Restore uses a hinge design that distributes load for stabilization and an easy-to-tolerate corrective force.

“Helping patients to live everyday life is our number one goal and we’re seeing those results with the OA Restore brace,” Gaurav Mishra, vice president global sales and US Orthopedic Division head for Ottobock, stated in the release. “Its key features of an arthokinematic hinge and tool-less technology are providing relief and even delaying more aggressive treatment, and it is rewarding to be able to measure that positive impact on quality of life.”
