ulrich medical USA Inc. announced the U.S. market release of the flamenco Universal Spinal Fixation System.

When used in fusion surgeries, the system enhances decompression and stabilization of the thoracic and lumbosacral spine and provides a range of polyaxial screws, rods, hooks, crosslinks and rod-to-rod connector options for posterior spinal fusion surgeries, according to a press release.

“The release of the flamenco system enhances ulrich’s market leadership position in expandable corpectomy cage technologies,” Erika Laskey, vice president of sales and marketing at ulrich medical USA, stated. “It offers surgeons German-engineered supplemental fixation solutions for use with our five expandable vertebral body replacement product lines for complex trauma and tumor applications.”
