Laser Spine Institute announced that it has entered into a formal partnership with Marodyne Medical.

According to a press release, Laser Spine Institute is offering Marodyne Medical’s LivMD, which will be available to the general public in early 2013, to patients recovering from spine surgery to promote accelerated healing through low intensity vibration.

“Because Laser Spine Institute is the leader in minimally invasive spine surgery, Marodyne Medical understands partnering with Laser Spine Institute is the best way to reach the largest amount of people in need of LivMD,” Clinton T. Rubin, PhD, chief scientific officer and founder of Marodyne Medical, stated in a company press release. “We will be working with Laser Spine Institute to make sure this product is available to every person that could benefit from its use and are eager to offer this technology as an additional offering in the postoperative healing process.”
