Merge Healthcare Inc. announced in a release Merge OrthoPACS, a comprehensive orthopedic image management and digital templating solution.

OrthoPACS features orthopedic-specific workflows built into the device from clinic use to the operating room and allows surgeons to access images taken at multiple locations in a single viewer, the according to the release. The system also enables surgeons to diagnose from any location at any time, plan for surgery with digital templating and securely archive studies. Additionally, a viewer provides access to pre-surgical templating which includes advanced measurements and automated hip templating.
