NLT Spine has received CE Mark approval for its eSpin discectomy device and has started using the product for discectomies in Europe.

According to a company press release, eSpin can be used as part of a lumbar interbody fusion procedure. It evacuates the disc nucleus and can be used to prepare the disc space before placing interbody fusion implants.

“eSpin is only one product of our offering,” Dider Toubia, chief executive officer of NLT Spine, stated in the release. “Our aim is to equip surgeons with a set of products and instruments that are needed to perform complete minimally invasive spine surgery procedures.”
