Zimmer introduces CLS Brevius Stem with Kinectiv Technology
Zimmer Holdings, Inc. has announced the release of its CLS Brevius stem, which reportedly enables surgeons to better match patients needs with modular neck options designed for independent intraoperative adjustments.
The product, according to a company release, expands upon the CLS Spotorno Stem with Kinectiv technology. Kinectiv offers a number of head center locations that reportedly offer a wide variety of modular neck options with different head center locations to accommodate the patients natural anatomy.
According to the release, the Brevius stem is shorter than conventional stems, providing better bone conservation compared to the original CLS stem.
