DePuy announced in a recent press release that Gary Fischetti has been appointed to the position of company group chairman for the DePuy Family of Companies, which includes: DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc.; DePuy Spine, Inc.; DePuy Mitek, Inc. and Codman & Shurtleff, Inc. Fischetti had been worldwide president of DePuy Spine since 2005.

In his new role as company group chairman, Fischetti will have responsibility for the DePuy Family of Companies of Johnson & Johnson, which offers treatments and solutions that span orthopedics, spinal care, sports medicine and neuroscience. Headquartered in Raynham, Mass., the DePuy Family of Companies is a $5.6 billion global presence that employs over 6,400 people around the world, according to the release.

Fischetti has been with Johnson & Johnson for 27 years, serving in roles in product and business development, general management, and sales and marketing in companies and divisions including Johnson & Johnson Orthopaedics, DePuy Orthopaedics, Closure Medical Corporation and Ethicon.
