Cayenne Medical names new CFO

Cayenne Medical, Inc. announced the appointment of Randy Buness as chief financial officer, according to a company press release. Buness, who has more than 25 years of financial experience and results-oriented leadership, will be responsible for all financial operations of the company.

“We are very pleased to welcome Randy as Cayenne’s chief financial officer,” James W. Hart, president and CEO of Cayenne Medical, stated in the release. “He is a talented finance professional with an impressive track record, and I am confident that his leadership will be a great addition to our management team.”

Prior to joining Cayenne, Buness served as CF of multiple high-growth, public and private technology companies with annual sales up to $250 million, including United Medical Network, a medical communications company that he co-founded and which was subsequently acquired by Johnson and Johnson. Most recently, he served as CFO of Routecloud, LLC, a Scottsdale-based mobile phone application developer and provider, according to the press release.
