Biomedical Structures names Dean Tulumaris president and CEO
Biomedical Structures LLC (BMS), a provider of biomedical textiles for medical devices and other advanced clinical applications, today announced the appointment of Dean J. Tulumaris as president and chief executive officer.
“We are incredibly pleased to welcome Dean to BMS,” John Gray, founder of BMS and chief operating officer, stated in a company release. “Dean has a proven record of strategic leadership success and deep medical device industry experience that will be very beneficial to the future of BMS as we continue to grow.”
Tulumaris has experience at companies focused on the outsourced development and manufacturing of medical devices, including Memry Corporation and MedSource Technologies, and brings experience in strategic planning, operations, mergers and acquisitions, and business and product development to BMS. During his tenure at Memry, where he held several positions prior to becoming president and CEO, Tulumaris directed a systematic expansion of production capabilities, both organically and through strategic acquisition, to enhance the service offerings to Memry’s medical device OEM customers.
