Amniox Medical Inc. introduced its NEOX Grafts, amniotic membrane grafts intended for orthopedic and podiatric use, at the Annual Scientific Conference of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in San Antonio.

The NEOX products are amniotic membrane grafts preserved through a patented process called CRYOTEK, which maintains the innate biological potential of the membrane. While cryopreserved amniotic membrane is primarily used for ophthalmic indications, Amniox has introduced it for use in the orthopedic and podiatric markets.

“With over 100,000 human transplants behind Amniox, our unique wound and soft tissue management will soon be a standard in the orthopedic and podiatric industry,” Chris Fair, the founder, president and chief executive officer of Amniox, stated in the release.
