AlloSource has announced two new affiliations with the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine and the Medical Device Manufacturers Association. AlloSource pursued membership with both organizations to support medical device and regenerative medicine grassroots efforts with policymakers, according to a company press release.

Alliance for Regenerative Medicine is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate key policymakers about the potential of regenerative medicine and to advocate for favorable public policies to facilitate advances in the field. Medical Device Manufacturers Association is a national trade association providing educational and advocacy assistance to medical technology companies.

“We look forward to working with the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine and the Medical Device Manufacturers Association to educate regulators on the ways regenerative medicine and medical devices using donated tissue do and will continue to greatly improve the quality of life for millions of patients in need,” Thomas Cycyota, AlloSource president and chief executive officer, stated in the release.
