VIDEO: Top 5 innovations in eye care

Survey shows Americans underestimate AMD prevalence

ADHD prevalence greatest in children with uncorrected vision problems
Researchers found that children in a large national sample who had vision problems were more likely to have a current diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder than those without vision problems.

An 82-year-old white female presented to the eye clinic with complaints of “flowery” spots in her vision that occurred up to seven times per week. These images persisted for a few seconds at a time. They had been ongoing for approximately 2 months.
