VIDEO: CooperVision celebrates 5-year anniversary of MiSight 1 day FDA approval

INDIANAPOLIS — CooperVision hosted an event at Academy 2024 celebrating the fifth anniversary of MiSight’s FDA approval, which was marked by patient success stories and real-world efficacy data.

“We got to reflect back on the long myopia journey with MiSight leading the way, especially here in the U.S. marketplace, where it remains the only treatment indicated to slow the progression of myopia in age-appropriate children,” Justin Kwan, OD, FAAO, the company’s head of myopia management, said in this Healio video.

CooperVision also announced it is more than doubling its myopia management team and will now have 25 expert team members throughout the U.S. to assist eye care practitioners and their staff in providing myopia care.
