LensCrafters launches second season of immersive game to promote healthy vision

LensCrafters announced the launch of the second season of its Eye Odyssey series, an immersive gaming experience that promotes healthy eye care habits, on the Roblox platform.
“With the success of the first season where we engaged with users on Roblox to drive awareness regarding maintaining healthy vision, we were able to connect with a new community through a fun interactive experience,” Alfonso Cerullo, president of LensCrafters, said in a company press release. “The second chapter of the series gives the brand the opportunity to further educate this audience about vision health and its impact on overall well-being.”
The second season, LensCrafters Eye Odyssey: World of Optics, engages users in five arcade style mini-games with Blinky, an eye-bulb character, to overcome challenges caused by prolonged screen exposure. Throughout the experience, users are prompted with reminders to schedule a yearly eye exam and use the 20/20/20 rule to prevent digital eye strain. New digital fashion and vision accessory items, including Color Vision Glasses and an Eye-Tracking Eyeball, can be redeemed at the end of the season.
The first mini-game was activated with the launch of the second season, and consecutive games will roll out in July, October, December and March 2025. Each mini-game will reflect aspects of a comprehensive eye exam and will take place in a new area, including Color Vision Island, Visual Acuity Island, Eye Tracking Island, Stereopsis Island and Lens Island.
“We’re thrilled to see the evolution of LensCrafters Eye Odyssey with the launch of season two on Roblox,” Cerullo said in the release.
