Bruder Healthcare launches Eyedration moist heat mask for dry eyes

Bruder Healthcare has launched Eyedration, a single-use, moist heat mask that helps maintain tear production in individuals with dry, tired eyes, the company announced in a press release.
This product, which begins heating once opened, generates therapeutic moist heat to melt the oil in the meibomian glands. It joins Bruder’s portfolio of dry eye products, including the microwave-activated moist heat compress, hygienic lid wipes, HOCI solution spray and the Dry Eye Drink.
“Eyedration provides doctors with a one-time use product for patients who have added manual expression and debridement of the eyelids to their practice menu,” Joshua Davidson, OD, founder of the Dry Eye Drink, said in the release.
Eyedration is sold in a pouch of 10 masks and can be ordered now by eye care professionals for delivery in November. Patients will be able to order Eyedration by December 2023.
“As a complement to our respected Bruder moist heat eye compress, the Eyedration mask provides a convenient way to maintain your eye health regimen when traveling or where a microwave is not available,” Brent Jones, global head of dry eye for Hilco Vision and general manager at Bruder Healthcare, said in the release.
