ATLANTA — Alcon’s vision care business grew 8% in 2022, the company announced at its 30th annual press event at SECO 100.
“It’s been a great year for Alcon in 2022,” Sean Clark, Alcon’s general manager of U.S. vision care, told Healio. “Despite some of the macroeconomic headwinds, we had a really good year, powered by our innovation.”
He noted the company has received positive response from practitioners and patients for its Precision1 One-Day Contact Lenses, Precision1 for Astigmatism Daily Contact Lenses, Dailies Total1 for Astigmatism, Total30 and Total30 for Astigmatism, Alcon’s newest launch.
The e-commerce platform, MARLO, allows patients to order their contact lenses through a doctor’s practice at any time, and Clark said Alcon is planning additional benefits for doctors through this service.
