EyeCare Partners announced it has successfully merged with CEI Vision.

This partnership brings together a network comprising more than 1,000 ophthalmologists and optometrists in 18 states and 150 providers across all subspecialties, giving patients access to nationally recognized doctors, according to a press release.

In collaboration with EyeCare Partners’ medical executive board, CEI Vision physicians selected to join will work together to develop and drive strategy in advocacy, technology, practice operations, compliance, research, physician recruitment and development, according to the release.

"CVP's highest priority has always been to provide outstanding patient service and world-class clinical care to our patients. Becoming part of ECP provides resources that will enable us to increase our investment in ensuring an unsurpassed patient experience combined with the high quality of care our patients have come to expect," Clyde Bell, the previous CEO of CVP who now serves as an executive advisor for ECP, said in the release.

The company also gained 47 clinical centers and eight ambulatory surgical centers across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Virginia.

“We are excited to officially welcome the CVP doctors and team members to EyeCare Partners," David Clark, CEO, said in the release. "Each practice that joins our network brings the knowledge associated with years of experience in building a leading organization.”
