VIDEO: Data show MIGS procedures to be effective, safe
BOSTON – The iStent inject and iStent inject W are trabecular meshwork bypass technologies performed to reduce patients’ risk of glaucoma progression and decrease medication burden, Mitch Ibach, OD, said here at the American Academy of Optometry meeting.
These minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS) from Glaukos are performed at the same time as cataract surgery, he said.
