Vision Expo West is offering a free digital extension, which features recorded content and online showrooms, through Oct. 3.

The meeting, which hosted 280 exhibiting companies and 190 hours of education, took place in Las Vegas Sept. 22 to 25, co-owners RX and Vision Council said in a press release.

“We are delighted that we were able to bring the vision community together for a vibrant, productive and safe show,” RX vice president Fran Pennella said in the release. “Motivated attendees, who were present to make serious business decisions, facilitate transactions and establish dynamic relationships, brought an unparalleled energy to the show floor and the suites.”

The Vision Expo West meeting organizers introduced The Seen as a hub for collaborative learning and venue for the Eye2Eye Series panels that featured industry experts discussing a range of topics such as tactics for refining patient care and fashion trend forecasts. The Career Zone-Student Lounge facilitated connections between students and optical companies looking to recruit. Also at The Seen was the Innovation Stage, which was a venue for groundbreaking content and state-of-the-art products and services, according to the release.

Vision Expo East is scheduled to take place in New York March 31 to April 3, 2022, and will be held in conjunction with OptiCon.
