DENVER – Thomas Swinnen, president of Johnson & Johnson Vision North America, spoke with Healio at this year’s Optometry’s Meeting about what the company learned regarding the importance of eye care health during the pandemic.

“Lots of things happened last year, and we saw optometrists really shining as frontline leaders,” Swinnen said. “We saw that access to eye health is critical for young people or underprivileged groups in our society, and that’s something that we as a company and as an industry need to work on.”
