PCON adds Rett to editorial board
Primary Care Optometry News and Healio are pleased to announce the addition of Doug Rett, OD, FAAO, to the PCON Editorial Board. Rett has written regular blog posts for Healio and PCON since 2015.
Rett is the chief of optometry for the VA Boston Healthcare System and serves as the director of tele eye care services for New England VA Hospitals. He is an adjunct clinical faculty member at State University of New York and the Illinois, New England and Pennsylvania colleges of optometry.
Rett is an active member in the eye care community, publishing multiple articles and lecturing locally and nationally on ocular disease. He organizes an annual event in Boston to distribute prescription eye wear to homeless veterans.
Rett received his optometry doctorate from the New England College of Optometry and completed his residency in ocular disease at VA Boston.
