The TeleEyes platform facilitates telehealth visits between patients and the closest affiliated eye care provider for potential referral to in-person treatment when necessary, according to a press release.

“These times have forced us to refine and redesign the way we deliver eye care,” Abby Ayoub, CEO of TeleEyes, said in the release. “Office capacities have reduced, but the demand for eye care is higher than ever before.”

TeleEyes will integrate with Optical Academy, an on-site optical service of which Ayoub is also CEO, according to the release. The platform is also paired with TeleOptician, a service that recommends frame and lens options to patients, per the release.

Eye care professionals can sign up to provide telehealth consultations on the TeleEyes website.
