ORLANDO, Fla. – An ongoing phase 3 U.S. study is evaluating epi-on, oxygen-enhanced corneal cross-linking, Clark Chang, OD, MSA, MSc, FAAO, said here at the American Academy of Optometry meeting.
Patients who undergo cross-linking (CXL) and have difficulty with contact lenses may be candidates for a procedure that combines CXL with topography-guided PRK.
Chang covered these topics in his lecture on contemporary keratoconus management.
Disclosure: Chang reports he is a consultant for Avedro.
