SynergEyes announces 1Day lenses, online ordering system

SynergEyes Inc. announced the launch of the SimplifEyes 1Day daily disposable lens and the MyContact Lens online ordering system.
The new daily disposable lenses utilize Dual Tangible Polymers from Tangible Science, which also developed Tangible Hydra-PEG for scleral, gas-permeable and hybrid lenses.
The SimplifEyes 1Day lens is available in powers of +0.50 D to +4.00 D, and -0.50 D to -6.00 D in 0.25-D steps, according to the company’s press release.
“These new innovations provide contact lens specialists with an enhanced continuum of unique and effective contact lens products and services,” SynergEyes President and CEO Bob Ferrigno, said in the release.
SimplifEyes 1Day lenses are supported by the new MyContactLens online ordering system, currently in beta testing, according to the release. The portal is accessible through independent eye care professionals’ practice websites.
Designed to streamline the lens ordering process, patients can order an annual supply of lenses or sign up for a contact lens subscription and have the lenses delivered directly to their home.

The MyContactLens ordering software makes this revolutionary technology more accessible to patients with convenient monthly payment options.”
The new lens is currently available in the U.S., SynergEyes said.
