SAN ANTONIO – Leslie O’Dell, OD, discussed here at the American Academy of Optometry meeting an up-and-coming product for patients with meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), Sight Science’s Tear Care.
With the in-office treatment, the eyelids are comfortably heated, then the meibum is cleared from the glands. O’Dell said the patients she has treated report less awareness of their eyes, increased comfort and less eye fatigue.
