SAN ANTONIO – Here at the American Academy of Optometry meeting, Clark Chang, OD, discussed a rare post-LASIK complication called rainbow glare, which may be confused with the commonly seen halo glare.

With rainbow glare, the patient explains that when they look at white light, they see a dispersion of the light as a rainbow, with clear spaces between the rainbow spectrum, he said.

The condition usually resolves by 3 months, Chang said.
