Uprise, Glimpse integrate to boost ECP profitability

Uprise by VisionWeb, a management and health records system, is integrating with Glimpse, a health care analytics provider, to give eye care professionals an online dashboard that measures business statistics and could improve profitability.
“The fine line between success and failure can come down to how well you manage the metrics that drive your practice,” VisionWeb President Tom Loveless, said in a press release from the company. “We’re happy to add the Glimpse integration to our partner ecosystem to provide out-of-the-box insight into how a practice is operating.”
Bought by ABB Optical Group earlier this year, Glimpse provides analytics for ECPs. According to their press release, with business owners in mind, it is designed to track performance, identify growth opportunities, forecast future trends and compare results among peers. The software integrates electronic health records with management systems to provide analytics, live benchmarking, employee productivity tracking, monthly SWOT (strengths, weakness, opportunities, threats) reports and daily metrics in an easy-to-understand format.
“You cannot improve what you do not measure,” Casey Hedberg, Glimpse founder and managing director, said in the release. “VisionWeb’s integration of the Glimpse platform into Uprise will allow their customers to easily dig into the data that matters to their practice and maximize their profitability.”
